Technicolor Wave by Tadness
Technicolor Wave
Used the standard rainbow gradient in GIMP, added a vertical black to white gradient for a bit more variety, then ran it through Audacity's Diode Processing plugin. I really didn't expect this kind of result. Looks pretty awesome though. Reminds me of the box art for the old Pitfall! game on the Atari, where the main character has a rainbow trail going behind him.

In the Flame of Error by Tadness
In the Flame of Error
Hey, something that's not a sunset this time!
Just a quick test to see if Audacity's Diode Processing plugin would really leave the red/yellow/orange colors unaltered like I thought, or if it was a fluke. Apparently it wasn't a fluke. I really like the background color in this one. Might have to use that in some more abstract art stuff sometime.

Sunset Collection by Tadness
Sunset Collection
I've been putting this off because I couldn't come up with a proper description for 4 sunset pics done with the same method (Diode Processing) so this is a pretty okay compromise. For anyone interested, the download link has all four pics individually; all I did here was put them in one big image. All 4 pics were taken by a friend on Twitter.

Boss Battle Time by Tadness
Boss Battle Time
So I took a friend's picture of the moon and edited it in Audacity and it somehow came out looking like the sort of background for an '80s video game boss battle. Remember when video games weren't all about realism?

Emerald Clouds by Tadness
Emerald Clouds
The same sunset pic as the previous upload, with a different plugin applied. I absolutely love the contrast and the colors in this one. It's magnificent!

I'm not sure how popular this'll be, but for what it's worth, I'm gonna start taking requests for glitch art.

The piece can either traditional glitch art:
Leaves of Fire and Ice by Tadness Keywork Stripes by Tadness Rainbow Exhaust by Tadness
Note that the "traditional" method can include images layered on top of each other and glitched, as seen here:
Glitched Chrysalis/Cadance by Tadness TVBed by Tadness

Or it can be with the new technique of having layers of glitch art "color" the line art of an image, provided it's a simple enough design.
Glitchamena_Diane_Pie by Tadness Glitch_Art_Geisha by Tadness Glitch_Tiger by Tadness

It should be noted that the layered method is more time-consuming in most cases, but it's really up to personal preference.

There will have to be a few restrictions on the type of picture I can do:
  • The image(s) used must be yours.
    • You can either draw them yourself, get them from a free source like Open Clipart www.openclipart.org or ask someone you've commissioned if it's okay to use their art in this way.
  • No inappropriate themes.
    • This will be done on a case-by-case basis. If you're not sure, feel free to ask.
  • I reserve the right to deny a request based on reasons above, and/or anything not listed.

The restrictions on the second kind of image include the ones listed above, plus things like complexity. Simple stuff like MLP designs are strongly preferred, specifically flat colors, in as few spaces as possible. Selecting complex shapes, as seen in the Geisha picture, gets really time-consuming...

Just send me requests and I'll see if maybe I can get them done in a timely manner.
